The short version

All our calculators run entirely in your browser. The data you enter is never sent to our servers, never stored, and never shared with anyone. We use minimal analytics to understand how the site is used. We do not sell data to anyone.

What data we collect

Calculator data

When you use our calculators, all processing happens in your browser using JavaScript. Your inputs (property type, bedrooms, heating system, etc.) are never transmitted to our servers. When you close the page, the data is gone.

Analytics

We use privacy-focused analytics to understand which pages are visited and how the site is used. This data is aggregated and anonymous — we cannot identify individual visitors. We do not use Google Analytics. Our analytics do not use cookies for tracking.

Affiliate links

Some links on our site are affiliate links (for example, "compare local installer quotes"). When you click these links, the destination site may set their own cookies. We do not control this. Please review the privacy policy of any site you visit through our links.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party cookies for marketing purposes. Any cookies used are strictly necessary for site functionality.

Third-party services

Our site is hosted on Netlify. Google Fonts are loaded for typography. These services may collect basic access logs (IP address, browser type) as part of their standard operations. We do not control this data collection.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Since we do not collect personal data through our calculators, there is typically nothing to access or delete. If you have contacted us by email, you can request deletion of that correspondence.
